In Windows Vista, how do I switch to the Windows Classic Start menu or Classic Control Panel?

In Windows Vista, you can switch the Start menu and Control Panel from the default view to the Windows Classic View.

Switching to Classic Start menu

1. Right-click the Start button, and select Properties.
   
   
2. Click the Classic Start menu radio button, and then click OK.

   Note: To switch back to the Vista default view, click the Start menu radio button.

Switching to Classic Control Panel

1. Navigate to the Control Panel:
   
   
   • From the Vista default Start menu, select Control Panel.
   • From the Classic Start menu, select Settings, and then Control Panel.
   
   
2. On the left, click Classic View.

   Note: To switch Control Panel back to the Vista default view, click Control Panel Home.
