What is Ares?

Ares is an electronic reservation system maintained by University Library at IUPUI to provide online access to course reserve readings. The IUPU Columbus Library and the Herron School of Art Library also use this system.

You can access documents from any Scholar's workstation in the library or through any computer with an Internet connection. IUPUI restricts these materials to current IUPUI students by requiring authentication with your IU Network ID. You can access Ares on the Course Reserves page.

For a secure login, click Secure login page available by clicking here on the main login page, or go directly to the Ares secure login page.

If you have trouble connecting to Ares, contact the IUPUI Support Center to report the error message you are receiving. The Support Center will contact the system administrator to troubleshoot the issue.

The Ares online document management system is produced by Atlas Systems, Inc.
