What is Globus, and where can I find out how to use it on the TeraGrid?

The Globus Toolkit^TM provides software tools for grid computing, including tools for authentication, scheduling, file transfer, and resource description. With Globus you can submit jobs remotely from your local machine to the TeraGrid platforms. You can also use these tools on each TeraGrid platform. TeraGrid currently uses Globus Toolkit 4.0.
