In UMS voice mail, why does the system always ask for my mailbox number?

If your telephone line has the suppress feature, which blocks your telephone number from being displayed on Caller ID, you will have to enter your 10-digit mailbox number and then your passcode each time you access the Unified Messaging Service (UMS) system.
