In the Knowledge Base, what is a document ID, and how do I search by document ID?
Every Knowledge Base document has a four-letter document identifier, or docid. You can find a document's docid in two places. The URL for each Knowledge Base page shows the docid, just before the ".html". You can also find the docid near the bottom left of each page. For instance, you can see this document's docid:
"This is document aqwx in domain all."
If you know a document's docid, you can quickly locate the document. To do so, enter the following in the search box:
docid: xxxxReplace xxxx with the four-letter docid.
You may also locate multiple docids by separating each docid with a space. For example, to find documents aqww, acte, and afvh, enter the following:
