For UMS, how can my name play before the voice mail greeting?

If you use Unified Messaging Service (UMS) with your voice mail, you may enable the option to have your name played before the greeting.

To set this option, follow the instructions below:

1. Visit: https://umsweb.iu.edu/

   Log in using your Network ID username and passphrase.

2. From the Options menu, select Telephone Interface.
   
   
3. To have your name played when callers reach your mailbox, mark the checkbox next to Play my mailbox name and status when callers reach my Voicemail; if you want only the greeting to play, uncheck the box.
   
   
4. Click OK.
