At IUB, using IUCAT, why can't I view materials I've checked out from the library?
IUCAT is a system that the Indiana University Libraries maintain to provide multiple resources to students, faculty, and staff. Through the IUCAT web interface, you can view materials that you have checked out.
At IU Bloomington, if you have both a staff identity and a student identity, you may have trouble viewing items you have checked out from IU Libraries. This can happen because the IUCAT system displays what was checked out to the student identity associated with your username, but the item or items may have technically been checked out to your staff or faculty identity. In this case, you will need to contact Campus Card Services and ask them to switch the identity. They can switch the way your CampusAccess Card is set up so that it will check items out to your student identity rather than your staff or faculty identity.
Campus Card Services has offices in the Indiana Memorial Union and Eigenmann Hall. For more information, see the CampusAccess web site.
