When logging into CAS, if my passphrase doesn't work, what should I do?
At Indiana University, if you are unable to authenticate to CAS (the Central Authentication Service) with your Network ID, first try changing or synchronizing your passphrase; see At IU, how do I change or synchronize my Network ID passphrase? If that does not work, you might have to reset your passphrase; see At IU, how do I reset my Network ID passphrase?
Note: If your passphrase is over two years old, CAS
will remind you to change it. Select Change my passphrase to
go to the Passphrase Maintenance page, or No thanks,
just finish my login to continue to CAS. This reminder will
appear every time you log into CAS, until you change your passphrase.
If you still have problems logging into CAS, it is possible that your ADS Domain account might be locked. See At IU, why is my ADS Domain account locked?
If you still cannot log into CAS, contact your campus Support Center.
