In Falcon, how can I check the status of my contact or incident?

Note: A project is underway to replace Falcon with a service desk system from Numara Software called Footprints, scheduled to be in full production in early summer 2009. For more information, see the Service desk implementation project page.

To check the status of your contact or incident in Falcon, use the Contact and Incident Lookup Utility. This utility allows you to view the status of any contacts or incidents associated with your Network ID. Access the Contact and Incident Lookup Utility at: https://falcon.iu.edu/lookup/ Log in using your Network ID username and passphrase. If you know your contact or incident number, enter this number in the box labeled "Please enter your contact or incident number:", and then click Submit Query. The details of the contact or incident, including the status, will then appear. If you do not know the number of the contact or incident for which you are searching, enter your Network ID username. You will then see a list of all the contacts and incidents associated with your Network ID.

Note: You cannot view contacts or incidents associated with any Network ID other than your own.
