In Outlook 2002, how do I enable SSL on an existing mail account?

To enable Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) on an existing account in Outlook 2002, follow these instructions:

1. From the Tools menu, select Email Accounts... .
   
   
2. Select View or change existing email accounts, and click Next.
   
   
3. Highlight the account you wish to edit and click Change... .
   
   
4. In the Email Accounts window, click More Settings... .
   
   
5. Click the Advanced tab, and under "Incoming server (IMAP):" check This server requires a secure connection (SSL).
   
   
6. Click OK, then Next, and then Finish.

The next time you check mail with this account, you will be using SSL.
