In an IU Windows STC, how can I convert a document to a PDF file?

In an Indiana University Windows Student Technology Center (STC), you can create a PDF file from any application by "printing" to the Adobe PDF printer found on all STC and Residential Technology Center (RTC) Windows workstations. To do so:

1. From within the application where you have prepared your document, select File and then Print. This opens the Print window.
   
   
2. From the list of available printers, select Adobe PDF and click Print. This will open the Save PDF File As window.
   
   
3. Select the directory in which you want to place the file and type the name under which you want to save the PDF. Click Save.
