In Mac OS X, how do I activate or de-activate AppleTalk?
To activate and de-activate AppleTalk in Mac OS X:
- From the Apple menu, select
System Preferences....
- From the
Viewmenu, selectNetwork.
- Next to "Show:" or "Configure:", select your Ethernet
option (e.g.,
Built-in Ethernet).
- Click the
AppleTalktab.
- To activate AppleTalk, check the box next to
Make AppleTalk Active. Similarly, to de-activate AppleTalk, uncheck this box.
- Click
Apply NoworSave.
Note: AppleTalk and IPX routing are no longer available on the Indiana University network.
