At IUPUI, in the UITS STCs, what is the lost and found policy?

If you have lost an item in an IUPUI Student Technology Center (STC), check the location below for more information:

• IT 131, HR 185, and the BS 3000 suite: At close, purses, wallets, and negotiable items (e.g., cash, checks, credit cards, student IDs, passports) found in the Business and Herron labs are taken to the IT 131 24-hour lab. Found negotiable items are picked up by campus police shortly after midnight each night. Other non-negotiable items remain in the IT, Business, and Herron labs until they are found. However, items are recycled or moved to campus police periodically.
  
  
• Inlow Hall: In the Inlow Hall labs (IH 235d, IH 235e, and IH 235g), all found items are immediately taken to the library reception desk on the first floor. If the reception desk is not staffed (i.e., the receptionist is on break, has left for the day, or is not scheduled to work) found items are given to the Law Library circulation desk.
  
  
• Nursing: In the Nursing labs (NU 344 and NU 342), purses, wallets, and negotiable items (e.g., cash, checks, credit cards, student IDs, passports) found are immediately secured in the lab by the lab manager. Non-negotiable items remain in NU 344 until they are claimed. However, items are recycled or moved to campus police periodically.
  
  
• Dental: In the Dental School labs all found items, regardless of cost, are turned over to the Dental Library circulation desk.
  
  
• Five School Technology Consortium: In ES 2116, ES 2119, ES 2121, and ES 2124, found diskettes and CDs/DVDs are kept at the consultant station. For all other items, check with the consultant in the site where you lost the item first. Then check with campus police at 1232 W. Michigan Street, 317-274-2058.
