For information about how to configure Mac OS X Mail to access your mail account via IMAP, see At IU, how do I configure Mac OS X Mail to read my mail through IMAP?
Mac OS X has a built-in email client normally located in the
Applications folder of your startup drive. To use it,
open Mail; by default, it will be in the Dock, but you may also launch
it from the Applications folder.
For instructions on setting up your POP mail account in Mac OS X Mail, see Setting up Mail in Mac OS X in the Apple knowledge base.
