In Outlook Express for Windows, how do I use the "Bcc..." header line when I'm sending an email message?
If you'd like to send a message to a group of people and keep the recipients from seeing all of the email addresses you're sending the message to, you can use the "Bcc..." (blind carbon copy) field in the header of the message.
To use the "Bcc..." field in Outlook Express, open a new
mail message. From the View menu, select All Headers
(this will place a checkmark next to it). Doing this will set Outlook
Express to include the "Bcc..." line in outgoing messages until you
turn the feature off again. To turn it off, open a new mail message
and, from the View menu, select All Headers to
uncheck the setting.
