At IU, what was the AT&T Fellows Program?

The AT&T Fellows Program provided support for faculty demonstration projects in the effective integration of information technology for campus and distance education. As faculty at Indiana University explored the growing emphasis on technology-enhanced instruction, the program encouraged the sophisticated and thoughtful use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Visit the AT&T Fellows Program web site for more information, including detailed reports on the projects funded by the program.

The program was established in November 1999, when Indiana University and the Ameritech Foundation (now the AT&T Foundation) announced the start of a $1 million program designed to promote innovation in teaching and learning as facilitated through the use of information technology. This program was originally known as the Ameritech Fellows Program and then as the SBC Fellows Program. As of February 2008, the program is complete.
