On my LISTSERV list, how do I restrict who can view the list of subscribers?
To restrict who can view the list of subscribers, a list owner can modify the Review keyword in the list configuration, also known as the list header. For more, see On my LISTSERV list, how can I modify the list header?
By default, all LISTSERV lists at Indiana University are created so that only the owner can review the list. The Review keyword is set to Owner, as follows:
Review= OwnerFollowing are other possibilities for the Review keyword:
Review= Private |
Only those on the mailing list are able to view a list of the subscribers. |
Review= Public |
Anyone can use the Review command to see a list of subscribers.
|
Review= Service |
Only those within the list's service area can view the subscribers list. See On my LISTSERV list, what is the Service keyword, and how do I use it? |
