In Eudora, how do I set how often it checks for mail?
Note: At IU you are required to use Eudora 5.1 and later. Earlier releases of Eudora do not support Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), while versions prior to 4.3 do not support IMAP.
To set the frequency with which Eudora checks for new mail, follow the appropriate instructions below:
Windows
From the Tools menu, select Options... . From
the scrollable icon list, choose Checking Mail. You will see
a line that says:
Click the checkbox to the left and set your value.
Mac OS and Mac OS X
From the Special menu, select Settings... .
From the scrollable icon list, select Checking Mail. You will
see a line that says:
Click the checkbox to the left and set your value.
