To send email to a LISTSERV mailing list, address your message to:

Replace listname with the name of the list, and hostname.domain with the name of the Internet host on which the LISTSERV list is based. For example, to send a message to the LISTSERV list NT-DEMO-L at Indiana University Bloomington, you would address your mail to the following address:

LISTSERV will send the message to all valid addresses on the list. If there are problems with some of the addresses, LISTSERV will return an error message to the list owner.
