Can I reserve a computer in one of the IUB STCs or RTCs?
At Indiana University Bloomington, you cannot reserve computers in Student Technology Centers (STCs) and Residential Technology Centers (RTCs) for individual use. If a site is open, computers are made available on a first-come, first-served basis.
However, please be aware that some computers, such as scanning stations in Fine Arts, have priority usage policies. Customers needing those stations for special purposes have priority. If you are using one of these computers for general computing, you may be asked to move. Special use computers are usually marked with signs indicating the use for which they are reserved.
For more information about STC usage policies, see Student Technology Centers standards and practices.
